But will his pay decrease? Unlikely. The Russian Life files

On November 30, President Vladimir Putin announced that the next big project the Russian administration needs to tackle is improving the pay of everyday citizens.

The statement came as Putin announced that Russia's poverty rate had decreased in Q3 2022 to 10.5%. The president said this was a move in the right direction, and called on officials to continue to improve the material well-being of Russians in the provinces as well as urban centers.

Meanwhile, the Russian economy is in a questionable state, with widespread sanctions set in motion by Russia's War on Ukraine.
