Doggone in Love

A bonded pair of chocolate labs were found roaming the streets of the village Etkul (in the Chelyabinsk Region) and are now looking for their owners.

While it isn't unusual to see stray dogs roaming around in Russia, what is unusual about this situation is the extent to which the two dogs dote upon each other. While living on the streets, the dogs were always seen side by side. Once taken in at a local dog shelter, the love between the two animals became even more clear. According to shelter employees, the two runaway lovers sleep and eat only together and even drink from the same water bowl.

Because both the dogs are purebred animals, they have ID numbers that can help trace them to their breeders. As of now, the shelter has tried to make contact with the dog's owner but hasn't received a response.

If that isn't a story to warm the heart (of a dog), I don't know what is
