An Unofficial Open to the Winter Olympics?

An Unofficial Open to the Winter Olympics?

“I consider the Tomsk Winter Olympic Games open!”

– Viewers joke as a man chases after his escaped plastic bathtub.

On January 22nd a plastic bathtub managed to escape the grasp of a local man from the city of Tomsk. A video of the chase appeared on Telegram, and it shows the man hurrying after his plastic bathtub as it gently glides down the snow and ice-covered sidewalk.

At one point the man was able to catch up, but as he reached out to grab the tub he only pushed it away, causing the tub to accelerate even faster down its slippery descent on the sidewalk. As the tub continued its venture, it almost took a small group of children along with it.

Luckily, a snowdrift eventually blocked the path of the "fugitive" tub, and the man was successfully able to grab a hold of his tub once more.
