Some Things to Enjoy with Your Stacks of Toilet Paper

This week's Odder News is intended to be read huddled under a blanket and surrounded by toilet paper rolls. Or, if you live in Belarus, driving a tractor.

A ten-year-old girl in the Russian republic of Mordovia was killed by electricity from a counterfeit Apple phone charger. Authorities were quick to encourage consumers to double-check their goods, which we will definitely do.
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, leader of Russia's close-ally neighbor, encouraged infected citizens to get out in the countryside, do some hard work, and drive a tractor to heal themselves. In his words: "You just have to work, especially now, in a village."
Putin has warned citizens of "fake" information in the midst of the coronavirus upheavals, assuring citizens that the government will be open and transparent about the spread of the infection. Like, for example, that driving a tractor will cure you of coronavirus.
March 19 was Russia's Day of the Submariner, so here's hoping you remembered to send cards to all your submariner friends this year.
Lenta.ru reports that falling European housing prices, courtesy of the global pandemic, are an upside for Russians looking to buy in the West.
Razvedka Bar in Moscow is serving a coronavirus cocktail to help alleviate urgings to stock up on TP. While alcohol may not be the answer, it may help.
