Amid a widespread price drop on smartphones, the average cost for an iPhone 11 in Russia with 128 GB is now approximately R55,000–58,000 ($811–856). This is a 16 percent price drop from the R60,000 ($885) that an iPhone 11 sold for in mid-March.

Soon after Russia's invasion, Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov asked Apple CEO Tim Cook to sanction Russia in the sale of Apple products. Fedorov believed this would alienate Russian youth from their country's actions. Apple responded with sanctions, and sales of their products to Russia were halted in early March. Chains have been unable to purchase Apple products, and financing loans for the products are no longer available.

As a result, prices on many iPhones are falling. An iPhone 13 with 128 GB has also fallen 16 percent, from R125,000 ($1,845) in March to R105,000 ($1,549) today.
