Four Russians were honored on the list of the top 100 best chefs of 2021, according to the website, The Best Chef.

Chef Vladimir Mukhin, who operates the White Rabbit restaurant in Moscow, placed ninth on the list. Mukhin's style is unique because it blends ancient Russian cooking traditions with a modern flair.

Brothers Sergey and Ivan Berezutsky (featured, by the way, in our book Driving Down Russia's Spine) both took 62nd place for their work at Moscow restaurant, Twins Garden. The brothers were the first in Russia to use 3-D printing in food preparation.

The head chef of the Selfie restaurant in Moscow, Anatoly Kazakov, ranked number 90 on the list. His restaurant is closely related to the White Rabbit and tries to use Russian-inspired recipes and local ingredients as well.
