Nikoloz Baratashvili

NIKOLOZ BARATASHVILI (1817-1844) was a Georgian poet, one of the first to combine Georgian nationalism with European Romanticism. He died early and left behind less than forty poems, yet is still revered as a shining light of Georgian literature.
