ARSENY ZAMOSTYANOV is a Moscow-based historian and literary historian, with an advanced degree in linguistics. His books include A.V. Suvorov: the God of War, Russian Heroism, Truth and Legends about Russians and Hungarians, and others. He published the complete works of Major Pronin by Lev Ovalov and wrote several modern sequels, including Major Pronin vs. Enemies of the People and Major Pronin vs. Spies and Saboteurs. He writes the “Current Past” column for the Literary Gazette.
