Roscosmos, Russia's NASA equivalent, has announced a new project: a TV channel devoted to astronomical exploration.
The "First Space" channel, set to launch in the coming months, will be satellite-broadcast to viewers (of course) thanks to an arrangement with one of Russia's largest broadcasting services.
Programs are set to include documentaries, exclusive reports, and science experiments (Boris Nye the Science Chelovek?). While Roscosmos' YouTube account has more than 450,000 subscribers, the TV channel is set to expand its reach.
