Tamara Eidelman is the former History Editor of Russian Life and founding editor of the literary journal Chtenia. A retired history teacher, in 2000 she launched a new career with a YouTube channel on all things history (@TamaraEidelmanHistory). It has over 1.6 million subscribers. An outspoken critic of the Putin regime and its War on Ukraine, Eidelman was declared a foreign agent in September 2022, and now lives outside Russia.
