Vakhtangov Theatre's "Eugene Onegin"

Rimas Tuminas' award-winning staging of Alexander Pushkin's novel in verse features two Onegins; a young, brash one without a care in the world, and an older one (the great Sergey Makovetskiy) ruefully looking on a life wasted and a love lost. Filmed before a live audience from Moscow's legendary Vakhtangov Theatre. Presented in Russian with English subtitles.
