Snowmobile

Snowmobile
After about a thousand head were vaccinated and chipped, we were loaded onto a snowmobile – or rather, in the wooden sled it was towing – and driven out to see the reindeer off into the tundra. Inside, the sled was spotted with blood from antlers the reindeer had broken off themselves. As soon as we set off, the blizzard seemed to grow even fiercer: snow lashed at our cheeks and made it impossible to keep our eyes open.
