Iceberg Vodka
Here are the comments our experts shared on this vodka.
Iceberg has a lovely clean taste. It's very smooth with a delicate aroma. Exceptional.
A luminous color, but a watery texture. Not as viscous or creamy as is my preference. A nutty flavor that is somewhat harsh and not particularly well-rounded. The packaging is nice, understated and modern, while suggesting the product's provenance.
It is clear, full, clean, viscous, creamy. Nose is subdued yet bright, with notes of licorice, mineral, flint, herbs, citrus, grain and spice. Palate resembles the nose. It is smooth and creamy, soft, a bit sweet, bright and clean, with a very faint burn and a lingering, really clean finish.
Fabulous bottle. Only wish the content was equal to it.
It smells like rubbing alcohol, and it is too thin to be satisfying. Not nearly viscous enough. Its taste is bitter and it has no complexity. The bottle is so-so.
More granular, astringent, alcoholic nose with mineral, pepper, and traces of vanillin. Clean, relatively neutral, austere, with camphor, mineral, pepper, and flint characteristics with a rough alcoholic heat. Pleasant appealing package, easy to handle. Interesting look when frosted.
Reviews of Iceberg Vodka by visitors to the Vodkaphiles website
Our vodka experts are dispersed around the country, tasting the very best vodkas. We do not gather together in one place, engage in Groupthink, and otherwise influence one another's opinions. Each expert has their own tastes, preferences and quirks (but we share a tasting methodology). We feel all of this contributes to more interesting, honest results.
It is worth noting that, in our scoring, we use the full 100 point scale, not just the top 10 or 20 points of it. We don't believe in grade inflation, and we consider a score of 80 or above to be the mark of a fine vodka. The final scores tallied above are the average scores of our seven vodka experts from around the country.
