Andrei Harwell is an architect and urbanist in New Haven, CT. Since receiving his Master of Architecture from Yale University in 2006, he has been Project Manager of the Yale Urban Design Workshop - a center for research on the city. He is the grandson of Russians who fled the Bolshevik Revolution and has had a longstanding interest in the culture, sociology, and architecture of first wave Russian communities abroad.
