Yaroslav SedovYaroslav Sedov was born into a family of musicians and studied piano, ballet and folk dancing. He also sang in the Bolshoi Theatre's Children's Choir from 1980-85. A graduate of the Russian Theater Arts Academy, he completed the doctorate in 1996. He has written over 1000 articles on music, opera and ballet, and is an expert on the Russian Zolotaya Maska theatrical awards committee.
