ANDREI GELASIMOV is the author of four novels (Fox Mulder Looks Like a Pig, Rachel, The Year of the Lie, Thirst) and several short stories. Born in Irkutsk in 1965, he is today one of Russia's most popular young writers. His first story, The Tender Age, was published to great acclaim in 2000, receiving the Best Debut, Appollon Grigoriev and Belkin literary awards.
